Is Wonderlin Roofing Systems, Inc. licensed and insured?

Yes, Wonderlin Roofing Systems, Inc. is fully licensed*, bonded and insured so you can rest assured that your home is fully covered during the course of the project. We also carry liability insurance. All our employees are in-house, fully insured, and covered with workers comp.

How long will it take to install my new roof?

This depends on the size of your roof and whether dry rot is found once your current roof is removed. We are typically able to complete most re-roofing projects within 3-4 business days.

I’m ready to move forward with the work. What do I do next?

Please contact our office and let us know that you are ready to proceed. We will email you a project contract via DocuSign for you to sign electronically. The deposit is due upon signing, so we will also email a deposit invoice. Once we receive the signed documents and deposit, we will put your project in our scheduling queue and let you know when we have a start date for your job.

Why does the contract say that dry rot will be an extra charge? Can’t that be included in the estimate now?

The cost of fixing any dry rot issues is usually not in the initial estimate because it is not fully visible until the roof is removed. We sometimes see clues of non-visible dry rot, such as an active roof leak. But the extent of the dry rot is not fully apparent upon the initial visual inspection. Once the roof is removed, we will let you know if there is additional dry rot that needs our attention. We will be able to repair any dry rot for you before installing your new roofing.

What preparations need to be made before my re-roof project begins?

We do recommend some preparation before the removal of your roof begins. Removing the old roof is a messy, noisy process; however, it usually only lasts a few hours, and we will do our best to make it go as smoothly as possible.

We recommend covering anything you don’t want to risk getting damaged, such as items in your garage or attic.

If you have a pool, please put the cover on. If you don’t have a pool cover, we recommend tarping it.

We ask that the driveway is clear of vehicles during the project.

Some dust/shingle granules are unavoidable. However, we will make every attempt to leave the grounds in a neat, broom-clean condition.

Are permits and inspections included in the estimate?

Yes! Permit costs are included in our re-roof contracts. We will take care of scheduling and coordinating all inspections.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, electronic bank transfers, and checks.

What color roof should I choose?

We offer a wide variety of roof styles and colors to choose from. We can provide you with shingle samples to help make the decision easier. We can also provide addresses of roofs we’ve done in your area of the color or style you are interested in so you can look at them.
